We use it on our own charter company too - here’s how that went.

Too many charts

Most marketing reports don't tell you what to do.

Most marketing reports show you a lot of numbers and leave the decision to you. Impressions, reach, sessions, engagement rate, all going up or down by a few percent. It’s hard to know which numbers matter, and even harder to know what to change.

So most yacht businesses stop looking. They post when they can, hope it’s working and only find out when the phone gets quiet.

What you need to know is simpler than that. Are more people finding us? What are they finding? What’s working, and what should we do about it this week? YachtPushr’s analytics are built to answer those questions and skip the rest.

What it answers

Questions your numbers should answer.

Good yachting analytics and reporting should answer a handful of plain questions. These are the ones YachtPushr is built around.

Are more people finding us?

Visits and searches over time, so you can see whether the trend is going the right way.

What are they finding?

Your pages and articles ranked by how often they’re seen and clicked.

What are they searching for?

The actual searches that bring people to your site, including the ones you didn’t expect.

What's almost there?

Searches where you’re close to page one. In our experience those are usually the quickest wins.

Which posts get attention?

The social media posts people view, share and save most, so you can do more of what works.

What should we do this week?

A short, specific list you can act on.

What YachtPushr measures

What YachtPushr shows you.

All of it comes from your own accounts, connected once.

  1. 01

    How you're found on Google

Connect your Google account and Site Analytics shows how often your pages are seen in search, how often they’re clicked and where they rank, by page and by search, going back over a year.

  2. 02

    Which articles bring people in

Your articles are matched to their search results, so you can see which ones are pulling their weight and which haven’t been found yet.

  3. 03

    What to work on

Your Google report points out searches that are close to page one and pages on page one that aren’t getting many clicks, with a plain-English note on what would help.

  4. 04

    How you've grown

A monthly chart of visits and searches next to the articles you’ve published, so you can see what publishing has done over time.

  5. 05

    How your posts are doing

Social Media Analytics shows views, reach, clicks, reactions, shares, saves and comments for every post, plus how much of your videos people watch.

  6. 06

    What to do next

Weekly Intelligence turns your profile, your priorities and your latest social media performance into a recommended focus and a short list of next moves.

Data-led marketing

Data-led marketing doesn't have to be complicated.

For a yacht or marine business, data-led marketing mostly means checking a few numbers regularly and acting on them. Are visits going up? Which articles are working? Which searches are close to page one? Which posts did people respond to?

For most businesses, once a month is plenty for search. It moves slowly, and week-to-week changes are mostly noise. Social moves faster, so a weekly look helps you see what’s landing.

The part that counts is acting on it. A search that’s close to page one is a reason to make that article better. A post type that keeps doing well is a reason to do more of it, and our guide to yacht content marketing covers how to keep that going. If you want more on the search side, yachting SEO goes into it for yacht companies and marine SEO for marinas, dealers and service businesses.

YachtPushr points those things out for you, so you don’t have to dig through reports to find them.

Weekly Intelligence

A weekly read instead of a dashboard.

This is Weekly Intelligence. It looks at your company profile, the priorities you’ve set and your latest social media performance, then gives you a recommended focus and the next moves that would help most.

It takes a few minutes to read, and it’s written for the person running the business.

Digital strategy

A digital strategy you can keep up with.

A yachting digital strategy that works is one you can keep up with every week. Most of the “digital transformation” talk in the yacht industry comes down to getting your listings, content and social working together, measuring what happens and improving it a little at a time.

From what we’ve seen, the businesses that keep it going use fewer tools and a plan small enough to fit around the season.

YachtPushr puts that in one place for a marine business. It syncs your listings, drafts and publishes your articles and posts, and shows you the results, and Weekly Intelligence uses your latest social media performance when it suggests what to focus on next.

Common questions

Questions about marketing analytics.

Where does the data come from?

+

From your own accounts. Site Analytics uses your Google account’s search data, and post analytics come from your social media accounts. You connect each one once in YachtPushr.

Do I need to understand analytics to use it?

+

No. Site Analytics and Weekly Intelligence are written in plain English, with the important parts pointed out for you.

How often should I check my marketing numbers?

+

Monthly for search and weekly for social is a good rhythm for most yacht businesses. Search rankings move slowly, so daily checks mostly show noise. Weekly Intelligence gives you a short read each week, so you don’t have to go looking.

How far back does the search data go?

+

When you connect Google, YachtPushr brings in about 16 months of search history and keeps it up to date from there.

Does it include posts we made outside YachtPushr?

+

Yes. Posts you made yourself are brought in too, so your analytics cover every account.

Does it replace Google Analytics?

+

No. Google Analytics tracks what people do on your site. YachtPushr focuses on how you’re found in Google search and how your posts perform, and turns that into next steps.

What does it cost?

+

Pricing is set per business. Request a demo and we’ll show you what it would look like for yours.
